0FTE (32 to 40 hours a week) - Hours can be negotiated at interview stage. Shifts - Need to be available Monday to Sunday for all shifts - Morning, afternoon and nights. Status - Permanent Location - Christchurch Hospital Salary - Starting from $58,100 to $68,309 per annum.

Kia hiwa r M te tnga - About the RoleMedical Progressive Care unit is a 14 bed General Medical ward that specialises in the management of people unwell with acute medical conditions. This role varies from day to day depending on the requirements of the ward, but ultimately you will be there to work in collaboration with the nursing team to make sure that everything is running smoothly to its highest potential.
You will be responsible for: Personal care - assisting patients with showering, feeding, mobility support etc; Cleaning and tidying the ward Stocking Providing close observation support Please note the successful candidate must be able to work all shifts. Ng pkenga me ng wheako - Skills and Experience Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in an inclusive team environment; Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team; Excellent time management skills and a willingness to learn; A high attention to detail and the ability to relate to patients and their families; A good use of initiative and problem-solving skills; Passion to assist our patients to achieve the best health outcomes; Previous healthcare experience desirable, but not essential.
